HOPE Services-Napoleon Office

HOPE Services provides support and programs for individuals who have developmental disabilities.

Mission:
HOPE Services is committed to "creatively working in partnership with eligible individuals and their families to discover, pursue, and achieve what is important to them."

Services Available:

Early Intervention: This program provides services for infants and toddlers, ages birth to three years, with delays in developmental milestones.

Preschool: Through a collaborative venture with Henry County's local school districts, the Northwest Ohio Education Service center and HOPE School provides Preschool Special Education services for children ages 3 through 5 who demonstrate delays or disabilities.

Residential & Waiver Services: These services are available though HOPE Services and contractual agreements with certified providers for individuals needing support in their own homes or in a group home setting.

Special Olympics: Opportunities are offered for year-round training and competition in a variety of sports for individuals that have a developmental disability.

Service and Support Administration: This service focuses on supporting and advocating for eligible individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Family Support Services: This program provides services to eligible children and adults living at home, such as respite care, home modifications and other needs.

Therapeutic Recreation: In partnership with HARC, Inc., evening and weekend opportunities for planned leisure activities are coordinated in the community.

Supported Employment Services: This program provides services to individuals to assist them in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment in a community setting.

Senior and Adult Service and Support Program: This program enhances the quality of life for mature adults by meeting their specific needs.

Specialized Services: Supports are provided to eligible individuals who reside in a nursing facility to enhance their quality of life.

Transportation: Yellow bus service is provided to all qualified individuals who attend school. Through a contractual agreement, the Henry County Transportation Network provides year round transportation.

Contract Agencies: HOPE Services contracts with Quadco, People Works, Filling Home, Easy Living, C.O.R.E.E., C.L.A.S.S. and other agencies to provide habilitative & vocational services.
